Rates and billing for services
All services performed by Creative Services are provided at a rate of $80 per hour. Rush work is billed at $100 per hour. The rush fee is applied to jobs that must reach the printer in ten days or less. A minimum one-hour charge ($80) is applicable per job.
Departments using our services must provide fund coding. Please use 2650 for creative services and 2675 for printing. Work Orders can be used, but Creative Services staff cannot begin work on a job without fund coding. Charges for each project are itemized on our client financial webpage after the project has been billed.
Rates and Services
Conference: $80/hour
Conference time will be billed at $80/hour. If more than one Creative Services staff member attends a meeting, the client is only charged for a single hourly rate of $80.
Editorial Services: $80/hour
Communications planning, production management, copyediting, proofreading, and other editorial services are billed at $80/hour.
Typesetting: $80/hour
Typesetting includes all aspects of preparing text for the design process and for publication. Fully automated electronic file translation, formatting, file transmission, and final production of output as specified are managed by our typesetting staff.
Design Services: $80/hour
Design includes all traditional, desktop, and Web design performed by staff artists. Services include concept, layout, design, illustration, photo recommendations, typography, paper and ink color selection, final specifications, and press checks.
Print Buying: $80/hour
Includes development of special bid specifications, estimates, job management, and special services from Creative Services print buying.
Minimum Charge: $80
A minimum of $80 is charged; hourly rates after the first hour are charged in quarter-hour increments.
Rush Charge: $100/hour
All jobs that must be at the printer in ten days or less will be charged at the rush rate, including our institutional projects. We'll work with you to work out a production schedule that most closely meets your needs.

Local deliveries are $17.00/delivery
